Students with a 48-credit (minimum) master’s degree in professional counseling or a closely related field may apply to this goal program to complete the educational requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. Students seeking professional counseling licensure in other states are responsible for familiarizing themselves with those specific requirements and seeking feedback from the relevant State Boards.

Specific credits and coursework requirements will be individualized based on the feedback from the State Board(s). Students may take as few courses as is required to meet the State Board’s educational requirements.
