Alicia Grunder-Laughlin is a Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in New York. She earned her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute and her Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in painting, from the University at Buffalo.
Alicia currently serves as the Practicum Coordinator and an Adjunct Lecturer in the Art Therapy Department. In addition to her academic role, she works on an inpatient psychiatric unit, providing clinical care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Alongside her clinical and academic work, Alicia brings several years of leadership experience in business management. She has held roles including Property Manager, Vice President and President of a local company founded by her grandfather. She integrates this unique combination of clinical expertise and business leadership into her work, contributing to the development and expansion of course offerings focused on career and lifestyle development.
